You only need one piece of furniture to perform the function of many. When closed, it uses less space, when open, it could accommodate as many as four people. Depending on how many people want to stand or sit you only fold out what is needed from a single QMB. If you want to stand and work, then you’ve got a 30” diameter table,If it’s just you…only one seat is required, foldout what you need.

Go to linkI went to High Point for the market show this year. I saw a lot of very nice furniture, and some very mundane furniture. Here’s something I saw that stood out, for it’s artistry, craftsmanship, and beauty Austin Productions Studio A is introducing the S Chair as part of the Piagetto Collection. The designer Alexander Estrada, first and foremost an architect, shows his true love for furniture design in the exquisite, undulating lines of this piece.

Go to linkI'd been doing several projects which required accurate cut-outs done by CNC technology. While doing them I designed this two component modular system for creating a wine rack or a wall of wine storage. The only parts are the front and rear panels and the "dog bone" conectors. They press together, for a friction fit, without tools. This one is in natural birch with a lacquer finish about 14" x 20" x 6" deep. Each section holds a case of 12 bottles and can be made in a variety of face veneers.

Go to linkWhile visiting many friends' small apartments, I noticed that there was a void when it came to elegant bike management. I wanted to create a piece that kept bikes off the floor but didn't look like it belonged in the garage. With that, The Bike Shelf was born. *Flattering as it may be, look out for the imitations out there. This is the original award-winning Bike Shelf as seen in Dwell, The New York Times and other publications around the world.
